Your teachings were like an "aha!"

Hi! I just wanted to send a note and thank you soooooo much for your teachings on Loving Your Kids on Purpose. They are wonderful! We have been trying to do Love and Logic with our 9 year old for several years, but I still had that "punishment" mentality. Thankfully, God is good and my 9 year old isn't afraid of much, but it was still not right and I knew there needed to be change, but didn't know what or how. Your teachings were like an "aha!"

We also have an almost 2 year old at home who is just beginning to really throw temper tantrums. I absolutely love telling her that she is not being fun and giving her the option to be fun or go to her room. It took a matter of days for that to click for her...and she isn't even 2 yet! She IS a genius! LOL!

Your teachings have also helped with being able to help kids at church. I help with our mid-week program and I lead the Children's Church on Sunday. What a peace it is to give the children choices vs. getting upset and sending them back to their parents in frustration. They shouldn't see an angry person at church...they should see Jesus.

One other way it has helped is that I am a special education teacher. I'm currently home with my daughter, but I can see how easily this can be used in the special education classroom. It's awesome.

I could go on and on...I'm sure many could. I just really wanted to say thanks for sharing what God has shown you. He has used you and your family to change many many lives now and lives to come. Thank you thank you thank you!!
